How It Begins
You are an office worker, wearing your headset and your agent. The text on your computer blurs blurs wildly out of focus, then a high-priority reminder slides into view: "It is 1700hr. Go home! Laura is waiting for you." Then there is a quote by Rainer Maria Rilke.
You take the train home to Porter Square Station where people are milling about. A large animated display shows the trains moving along a virtual map, and escalators head up to the surface. Your home is only a couple blocks from here.
