From IFWiki

Choice of Games LLC is a California limited-liability company dedicated to producing high-quality, text-based, multiple-choice games. It produces games in house, beginning with Choice of the Dragon and Choice of Broadsides. It uses a simple scripting language for writing text-based games, ChoiceScript, which is available to others for use in their projects. They also host games produced by other designers using ChoiceScript on their website. In addition to web, Choice of Games publishes ChoiceScript titles to mobile devices such as iPhones, Android phones, and Kindles.

Choice of Games has a variety of monetization methods, including free-to-play, ad-supported, and for-pay.

History

Choice of Games was founded by Dan Fabulich and Adam Strong-Morse in 2009, publishing Choice of the Dragon in January of 2010. They were joined in creating their second title, Choice of Broadsides, by Heather Albano, released April, 2010. That year also saw the publication of Choice of Romance, by Strong-Morse and Albano, and Choice of the Vampire, by Jason Stevan Hill. In 2011, Hill joined Fabulich and Strong-Morse as a partner in the company.

Also in 2011, the company created a second imprint, Hosted Games, to better distinguish between community-developed titles and gamebooks authored by professional writers.
