Façade
From IFWiki
Façade is an experiment in interactive storytelling created by Michael Mateas and Andrew Stern and released in 2005. It is essentially a 3D simulation of an awkward social situation, where the player can type what he/she wants to say and two animated characters, Grace and Trip, respond via prerecorded voice segments.
Though not what most in the IF community would consider "interactive fiction," Façade received a great deal of press coverage in the years following its release, and is considered a pioneering work in the field of dynamic character interaction.
