I don't understand: what's this page? What's it useful for? What's an "IFWIKI Messanger" (or maybe messenger)? --Eriorg 09:21, 6 May 2007 (EST)

  • As near as I can tell (I'm guessing), IFWiki's users are invited to post a message of the day by clicking the link, and then that's what everyone else reads that day. Then that message seems like it gets lost unless someone like me tries to find it and puts it into a category. I don't see much point in this in its current form. If nothing else, I'd drop the "YEARLESS" phrase from the second link. -- David Welbourn 09:51, 6 May 2007 (EST)
  • Looking up examples of usage on Data Crystal, it was only recently introduced there, and only six examples of "tips". Here for your enjoyment, are those "tips":
  • You can help Dat Crystal by joining PJCL (Pending title). [Apr 20, 2007]
  • You can also help by making sure I don't accidently say "Dat Crystal" again, however pointless it may seem. [Apr 21, 2007]
  • As far as EarthBound hacking goes, Starmen.net's PK Hack community is your friend. [Apr 22, 2007]
  • It might be helpful to make up tip-of-the-days. :P [Apr 23, 2007]
  • Maybe you could add more hacks or tutorials. [Apr 24, 2007]
  • Send your game-related Myths to MythHaxors. [Apr 25, 2007]
I can't say I'm very impressed. -- David Welbourn 10:07, 6 May 2007 (EST)

Well, what do we do now? Do we delete this? --Eriorg 09:13, 24 May 2007 (EST)

  • Y'know, I don't have any enthusiasm for this template, but I still didn't want to delete it right away. I thought it was only fair to let this new idea have a chance, and I was hoping that the original contributor for this page would add an explanation on how to use it or at least use it himself to show what sorts of messages he expected to see.

Give it one more week to let the original contributor add an explanation of what it's for and use it himself. If even he can't be bothered to do something with this template by June 1st, then yes, I'll delete this template. -- David Welbourn 16:43, 24 May 2007 (EST)
