Textfire 12-Pack was an April Fool's Day hoax in 1998. A new IF company called Textfire released demos of twelve upcoming games, and more Textfire demos appeared even later in the month. Suzanne Britton's old website covered the news and discussion in detail as it happened, until finally, Adam Thornton solved the mystery and was named "Textfire #1 Investigator".

This was a feature article in April 2006.
