Overview

This was the third Adventuron game jam. In this jam, authors were required to create an old-school treasure hunt text adventure with no graphics and minimal text. Although it was called a jam, it was actually a competition judged by a panel of experts. Prizes were awarded to the winning entries.

Full rules were provided on the jam's home page. Most notably, the entries were limited to two-word (verb noun) input and six-word responses. Participants could optionally restrict this even further to two-word responses. Location descriptions and object names were also limited to two words. The game intro and end messages were limited to three sentences.

As it was a treasure hunt, the game had to have a minimum of four locations, including a treasure room, and four treasures. The organiser provided a sample game titled TWO to give an idea of what was required.

Entries

Entries and placings were as follows:

Red of Rosa (Betina) (Tiago N. Moraes; 23-Feb-2020; Adventuron) was disqualified, as it was an unfinished game that did not adhere to the rules.
