I did a bit of cleanup on prepositions and the like to try to make the English clearer, but I'm still a bit unsure about the claim that it uses the Inform compiler but is nevertheless completely incompatible with Inform. Is the intent here that the compiler is used unmodified, but the library must be entirely replaced, like in Platypus? Or is the Inform 6.30 compiler itself modified? --Mcmartin 11:18, 6 July 2007 (EST)

  • Caveat: I Am Not An InformATE User, but... My understanding is that the entire library is replaced. All the function names and standard properties and attributes have been translated into Spanish equivalents. Furthermore, where standard English Inform has one property, name, InformATE might have a set of properties like nombre_f, nombre_fp, etc. And the adjetivos property has no direct equivalent in English. And there's probably other differences that aren't so obvious. But I believe InformATE uses the same syntax and same English keywords as Inform, so the compiler itself is still the same, even if nothing else is. -- David Welbourn 12:22, 6 July 2007 (EST)
