Here's the release information I got from Nick Montfort's website:

Release 8 / Serial Number 040328 / Inform v6.15 library 6/10

Turns out this is another re-release. --Isxek 14:54, 13 September 2006 (EST)

  • EDIT: The versions available on both the IF Archive and the Anthology section of the Inform 7 website point to the older version (before the article had been edited). --Isxek 07:31, 14 September 2006 (EST)
  • I guess I was confused by what you were saying; I didn't know there were two "Release 8"s. Is the latest correction satisfactory? -- David Welbourn 19:19, 14 September 2006 (EST)
  • Sorry for the confusion, David. My fact-finding ran a bit backward. Everything should be ok. -- Isxek 14:46, 15 September 2006 (EST)

Last lousy point

One question: should the last lousy point list as a Notable Feature for Savoir-Faire (or other games) or is it instead a standard feature (non-notable) of so many scoring systems? Thanks in advance. -- Cassandra Palop 06:48, 11 December 2006 (EST)

I think it counts as notable for our purposes. Scoring itself is no longer standard in an IF game, and last lousy point has never been "standard", as far as I know. I merely want to avoid using the Notable Features section to repeat information from elsewhere on the page. Since scoring methods or attributes are not currently noted elsewhere on the page, the Notable Features section is the appropriate place to comment on them. -- David Welbourn 15:21, 11 December 2006 (EST)
Thanks! I'll take that into account. -- Cassandra Palop 15:29, 11 December 2006 (EST)
