From IFWiki
Jump to: navigation, search

The links to ADRIFT Wiki don't work any more. According to this link, it seems that it just no longer exists (I hope the IFWiki will never have the same problem!). Should we remove the links from this page and from other pages (the "Wikis ad" templates, for instance)? --Eriorg 14:34, 6 December 2007 (PST)

  • I always had mixed feelings about the Drift On wiki. I did feel it rather duplicated some of our own work, but some of its content was unique, and I suspect the contributors to Drift On had more freedom to put things the way they wanted to. Sigh. For this page, I think we should make a note that it used to exist are where it used to be, for history's sake, but for other pages, we'll need to remove links, and yes, the "Wikis ad" template will have to be removed from everything. Oh well. -- David Welbourn 11:58, 7 December 2007 (PST)

Create Your Own Adventure

I don't know if any of you are aware, but there is a wiki called Create Your Own Adventure. Basically, it's collaborative CYOA-style interactive fiction authoring. It actually uses MediaWiki (the software this and that website runs) as an authoring system! Have you ever seen wiki used as an authoring system? It reminds me of that parody of Zork.
