Aventuras AD

Aventuras AD was a company created in 1988 based in Valencia, Spain, that focused exclusively on the creation of text adventure games. The company became one of the most prominent during the golden age of Spanish software.

Andrés Samudio, leader of the company, reached an agreement with Dinamic to establish itself as an independent company, launching seven games, all made through its own adventure creation tool called DAAD, except the first of them, a promotional game:

Also, Aventuras AD was the distributor of the Spanish version of the PAW (Professional Adventure Writing System), the adventure creation system of Gilsoft, work of Tim Gilberts. Supervivenciawas a demonstration of the capabilities of the aforementioned system.

Despite its initial success, Aventuras AD struggled financially and closed in 1992, but its legacy in the Spanish-language video game industry is still remembered and valued by many fans.
