How it begins
It is an autumn evening in the seaside village of Greyhaven. You are a fisherman, standing on the docks after a long day of work. There is a pub nearby, as well as your home.
Entering the pub, you encounter a hobo who gives you a mysterious egg, insisting that you take it.
Trivia and Comments
This game was inspired by the following entry from H. P. Lovecraft's commonplace book: "What hatches from primordial egg." In the original list of commonplace book entries provided to the contestants, this entry was numbered 169; hence the game's title includes the number.
