Enigma is an Italian text adventure, written by Marco Vallarino. It is a surreal mix of horror, science fiction and mystery. In 2001 the game won the Italian competition "Miglior avventura dell'anno" (Best adventure of the year) and was published by the Italian edition of the video game magazine The Games Machine.

How it begins
