How it begins
You are Sam Haversham. You wake up in your bedroom with a bit of a hangover. You're mostly naked: you're wearing a grungy pair of underwear that you thought your mom threw out years ago.
Your bedroom is a room above your parents' garage, and it has a bed, table, bookcase, closet, door, window. And it has its own bathroom to the north. But it soon dawns on you that something odd is going on. The underwear you're wearing. There's a broken glass on the floor. There's a flowering vista outside the window instead of the expected suburbia. And your door is boarded shut. How are you going to get out?
