How it begins

You might be anyone, carrying nothing, standing in the temple of the Big Red Button. DO NOT CLICK IT.

Notable features

  • An exercise in futility. The only action that accomplishes anything is "CLICK BUTTON", but you'll always lose points that way. There is no winning ending.
  • The two versions are nearly identical. The only difference is that the Ending Edition ends the game when 100 points have been lost, and the Everlasting Edition never ends regardless of how many points are lost until you type QUIT or close the interpreter.

Trivia and Comments

  • Nothing happens if you PUSH or PRESS the button. Only CLICK is the forbidden action.
  • A similar game in concept is Sisyphus (Theo Koutz; 2006; Z-code 8).
