How it begins
The player is self-published SF author A.B. Astherton, who has been recruited to judge a middle-school science fair after their first choice of local celebrity judges is sidelined due to health issues. This is also an opportunity to autograph and sell copies of the novel in hopes of making rent this month and keeping five cats fed. Although there is a time limit before the judging will begin, the player is free to explore the fair or sell books at their own discretion. There is no wrong ending, but there are characters to meet, drama to explore, and secrets to discover.
