fweep is an online map creation tool, driven primarily by the keyboard. The two guiding principles are: (1) make your mapping tool as much like parser IF as possible; (2) aim for accessibility. fweep allows the user to create and discover the map through the keyboard and a screenreader.
fweep optionally embeds Parchment, so you can directly play any game format supported by Parchment and also enter map editing commands at the same parser prompt. (You can search for games via IFDB, or load the story file of your choice.)
Features
- Dual map editing modes: keyboard and mouse
- Keyboard input uses natural language syntax like a text adventure
- Multiple maps can be stored in browser local storage
- JSON export and import
- PNG export
- Smart map autolayout
