How It Begins

You are a master thief, carrying nothing, standing in your living room. You see your wallet and a battery here. You want to go out* and steal as many treasures as you can, return here, and type "DONE" to signal you've done as much as you think you can.

(*The only part of the outside world available to you in this game is a museum, so you'll probably want to rob that.)

Trivia and Comments

  • The player must use the verb "USE" for some commands.
  • It's somewhat easy to forget that you need to type "DONE" when you've finished doing all you can. You must be standing in your living room and holding the treasures in your inventory to get the points for them.
  • Debugging verbs reveal that the game was meant to be larger than it currently is. In addition to the museum, you would've also been able to rob a bank and a rich man's house.
  • Although the wallet has a UMD seal on it, that doesn't make it certain that the game itself is set in Detroit.
