Zym is a Z-code interpreter for SymbOS, an aftermarket multitasking operating system for various Z80-based 8-bit microcomputers such as the Amstrad CPC, Amstrad PCW, and MSX2.
Originally, Zym was based on fweep (with some code/ideas from ZORKMID), and was thus under the same licence, GPL3+.
Zym II is a rewrite, under the MIT licence. It includes custom opcodes to accelerate common code patterns in Inform 6 games, and a tool to patch existing story files to use those opcodes.
