How it begins
It is New Year's Eve in 2010. You have had a very lousy year. However, a few days ago you became an uncle, and immediately saw a great opportunity: if you can get your nephew the position of Baby New Year, 2011 is going to be a much better year for you.
To that end, you have arrived at New Year's Pole, the place where the Old Year officially gives way to New Year. You are currently standing in the Main Lobby of the facility, and carrying your baby nephew.
