How It Begins
Your father left you when you were still too young to have use of reason. He left you in a house atop a small hill, in the care of two sinister women, eternally dressed in black. He abandoned you to the dark corners, to the lengthened shadows of the dark house, to silences and tedium. It may be that your father has died, somewhere out there. You hope and pray that such is the case.
