How it begins
You might be anyone, carrying a brass compass. You awaken with an aching head in a tall underground passageway lit with torches. The south end of the passageway opens into a wider area, and the north end has a large hole in the floor. The last thing you remember was exploring a Brazilian cave with some friends, but now you're alone.
