IFWiki is a wiki containing information about interactive fiction. It uses the same software as Wikipedia. It officially opened to the public on February 10th, 2005. Its official birthday is 28 December 2004, when IFWiki:About was created.

IFWiki database moved to wurb.com; new version of MediaWiki. License tab no longer supported; see Copyright. Some problems with images yet to be solved. - 20 Jan 2022: IFWiki has a searchable database of interpreters, authoring systems, and other software!
- 23 Jan 2022: The Interactive Fiction Technology Foundation has adopted IFWiki!
- 1 Sep 2022: IFWiki has a new Events database! Upcoming events automatically show up on IFWiki's front page. Add an event!
