How it begins

In the optional long introduction: Queen Fafhara is ill, and it is decided that her only hope is the Jewelled Eye of Wossname, which must be retrieved by an idiot adventurer. Thus it was that Spodgeville Murphy was Sent.

You are Spodgeville Murphy. You are wearing your trademark hat and leather jacket, and carry a lamp, whip, whip manual, and a gun. After many weeks of adventuring and solving many puzzles, you finally stand in the shrine where the Jewelled Eye of Wossname rests on a small platform which juts up from a large pile of rocks.
