How it begins
Visits from Uncle Griswold were always unusual; they tended to be noisy, disruptive, and involve a lot of property damage. So when he called saying he was coming to visit, your family debated what to do. Hide? Leave? Kill him? Pretend we're not home?
You're Shelly, a 14 year-old with hair dyed blonde, carrying nothing, standing in the humdrum "front room" which contains: TV, video, stereo, books, sofa and chair. You plan to let Uncle Griswold in.
