How it begins
That day, the 9th of June, 3145, started out like any other, perhaps a little hotter than usual. Then Maisy DeValle entered his office.
Vic's office
Vic Gantry's office was small, but he tried to keep it smart. In the centre of the room, there was a neo-chrome desk, with a computer screen on it, and a black chair behind it. Behind the chair, a window, looking out on New Chicago. On the north wall there was a picture of a gazelle, the door was to the west. There were also two chairs for clients to sit on, and at the moment an attractive woman, hopefully a new client, was sat on the left one, waiting for Vic to ask her what her business was.
