How it begins
It began less than two hours ago. From deep space, a series of electromagnetic pulses in the static. A Fibonacci sequence, repeated over and over, discovered by the Tsiolkovskiy Lunar Observatory Base.
The first evidence of intelligent life from beyond Earth.
The world’s governments and religions all had opinions as to what to do next, but the message from ground control was clear: analyze the sequence. While you’d love to be at the base for first contact, the Neujmin dish was out, and Mendelson’s chosen you to venture across the barren lunar surface and fix it.
You’d argue with him, but as Mendelson will be the first to tell you, he’s always right.
