How it begins
First, there is a warning that the game contains drug abuse and implied full frontal nudity.
Then, there is a quote from "Shine" by Rollins Band.
You are a (presumably male) Caputman. That means your body consists of just a head and a hand—a left hand in your case. You've carrying nothing. You left the boring and pastorial Caputmania, and now you're downtown in a noisy dance club, amongst the dancing legs and feet. You have fallen in love with her, one of the female humans, and desparately want to get her attention (and affection).
