How it begins
For seven years you have slept in the center of your bed, where the monster couldn't reach you. Recently, your little brother has been moved from mom and dad's room to share a room with you, and you're worried he'll be a much easier target for the monster. You've decided that tonight is the night: you will kill the monster.
