In a SPAG 40 interview with Urbatain, the game's original title is translated as Fatal Forgetfulness, though Deadly Oblivion is probably more accurate.

"Shattered Memory" (the "bad English" version)

Date: September 2001

"Dead Reckoning" (the "good English" version)

Date: July 2003

It is generally acknowledged that the Dead Reckoning version is a better English translation than the Shattered Memory version.

Please do not confuse this game with Dead Reckoning (David Whyld; 2003; ADRIFT 4).
