How it begins
The game begins with a warning that it uses special effects (color, timed input) that don't work on all interpreters, then asks if you want to play the enhanced version.
You are an unnamed woman, carrying nothing, standing outside the dread Ice Queen's cave. You're here because the Ice Queen stole your boyfriend Saul from you, and inside her cave you find him encased in a block of ice while she sits nearby on her immense ice throne. The Ice Queen tells you that if you want Saul back, you must bring her the Heart of Winter, guarded by the Dragon.
