How it begins

Your great-uncle Robert Pire died several weeks ago, leaving you, his closest relative, his estate. You don't actually remember him very well, but you feel obligated to at least look at the place.

After a tedious journey, you finally arrive at an isolated green house. The west side has the front door and a mailbox. You're carrying a keyring (containing the house key) and the letter that told you about your inheritance.

Notable features

  • Many of the game's locations appeared in the author's earlier games: Castle Amnos, Elements, and Hell: A Comedy of Errors. Also, the author's next game, Order, features Robert Pire and his house in such a way that would make Order a possible prequel to Domicile.
  • Magic is a major theme, and much of the gameplay involves the player character acquiring magical items, learning magical spells, and gaining magical abilities. Unfortunately, no magic system is presented to the player to give it all any sort of coherence, resulting in several read author's mind problems.
