How it begins
Cold. You might be anyone, carrying your pack and wearing many layers of clothing, yet chilled to the bone on this snow-covered mountain ledge. A glint above you -- the tales were true! With the last of your strength, you find a golden bowl like nothing you've seen before. But as you take the treasure, the mountain shakes and you fall...
...and wake up in your home office. You were doing research for your game: your computer still shows the web page you were reading, but five pages of your notes have disappeared. Your cat, Apollo, sleeps in the sunlit windowsill.
