A somewhat abbreviated adaption of the story of the same name.
How it begins
The game begins with jacket quotes about itself.
Chapter 1: Escape. You are Edmond Dantes, falsely imprisoned as a traitor in a primitive prison cell in Chateau d'Cliff. The rock-hewn cell has little more than a window and a door. You mean to escape and exact vengeance on those who imprisoned you.
