How it begins

You are in your girlfriend's studio; the most obvious feature is the aquarium. You are wearing a chef hat, and carrying a telegram, a lingerie bag and a bouquet of flowers. Before you deal with your other errands, you have to feed Britney's fish.

Notable features

  • The game centres around a responsive NPC who obnoxiously comments upon nearly every action.
  • The title is a reference to A Day for Soft Food (Tod Levi; 1999; Z-code), also a game about feeding a pet.
  • Subtitled "your basic surreal gay fish romance" in the I7 version, it features a lesbian protagonist and makes frequent reference to her absent partner.
