How It Begins
The chilota fishing creek is in dire straits. Fishes are scarce, shellfish is gone and the coming storm could well destroy what little is left to the fishermen. Lucho, a young fisherman, is willing to risk his life to gain back la Pincoya's favour, so the creek may prosper anew.
Distribution files (both ZIP and Windows Installer) include Z5 game file, intro fiction, instructions, help, and a Zmpp web page to play if you don't have a Z interpreter installed (Zmpp requires a JAVA Runtine Installed). During the game, through AYUDA command you may get further help; PISTAS command gives access to a complete hints menu-driven system.
Game makes extensive use of local spanish terms and cultural themes unique to Chiloé, along with some Mapudungun (chilean Mapuche ethnic language); in-game AYUDA command and VOCABULARIO command allows access to complete Vocabulary.
Includes a PDF file (on spanish) with information on Chiloé, it's geography, history, culture and mithology, with additional detail on the characters and mythical creatures appearing on the story.
